Crescent Public School and Creative Minds Pre School solemnly commemorated Shaheed Diwas on 30th January with deep respect and patriotic fervor, paying heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The program was organized under the inspiring guidance and leadership of the Principal, Mrs. Humaira Khan, whose vision continues to encourage value-based education and national consciousness among students.
The ceremony began with a serene and respectful atmosphere as the gathering observed silence in memory of Mahatma Gandhi and all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The highlight of the event was the floral tribute ceremony, where Principal Mrs. Humaira Khan, along with all the teaching and non-teaching staff members, offered garlands and flowers as a mark of respect and gratitude. Students Lavanya Bhaisare and Humaira Sheikh delivered inspiring and well-articulated speeches on the significance of Shaheed Diwas. They highlighted Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of truth (Satya), non-violence (Ahimsa), peace, and communal harmony. Their speeches emphasized how Gandhiji’s teachings remain relevant even in today’s modern world and encouraged everyone to adopt his values in daily life. The students spoke passionately about the sacrifices made by national leaders and reminded the audience of their responsibility toward the nation.
Principal Mrs. Humaira Khan addressed the gathering and motivated students to uphold the ideals of honesty, discipline, unity, and compassion. She emphasized that Shaheed Diwas is not just a day of remembrance but also a day of reflection and commitment to building a stronger and more harmonious India.
