Ballarpur: On the auspicious occasion of Maharashtra Day, a special program was organized with great enthusiasm at Crescent Public School and Creative Minds Pre-School. The program commenced at 8:00 AM with flag hoisting and the national anthem by the school manager, Advocate Nazim Khan. On this occasion, the entire staff and students of the school were seen immersed in patriotic spirit.
The cultural program held after the flag hoisting was effectively hosted by Lavanya Bhaisare (Class 8) and Anusavi Ramteke (Class 7). The program began with a welcome speech by Anisha Kondukwar and Siddhi Chauhan, where they highlighted the rich heritage and glorious traditions of Maharashtra.
On this occasion, the school also organized an online “Maharashtra Asmita Quiz” on the occasion of Maharashtra Day and Labour Day, which will be conducted from May 1 to May 10. Students from all classes have been given the opportunity to participate. Through this quiz, students’ general knowledge and logical thinking skills are being enhanced.
Students who give the most correct and fastest answers will be awarded prizes — First Prize ₹1100/-, Second Prize ₹700/-, and Third Prize ₹300/-. All participants will also receive an e-certificate.

During the program, students Nishika Gidwani and Vaiba Sheikh presented melodious patriotic songs, filling the entire atmosphere with enthusiasm and energy.
At the end of the समारोह, Divya Lakhwari delivered the vote of thanks. The entire program was successfully coordinated by Taj Sir. This initiative by the school not only enhanced cultural awareness among students but also strengthened their sense of pride towards their state and nation.
